Dies Yesterday Near Sheridan

Services Tuesday for Mrs. Shoe

Burial in Crown View cemetery will follow services at 2 p. m. tomorrow in the Sheridan Christian church for Mrs. Mary E. Shoe, 79 years old, who died yesterday at her home 4 miles north of Sheridan.

She was the daughter of Jonathan and Emily (Beaver) Tweedy and lived all her life in the Sheridan community. She was married in 1892 to James Marion Shoe who died in 1932.

Survivors include five children Joseph Shoe, Kirklin; Cecil and Miss Nelle Shoe, at home; and Carl and Fred Shoe of near Sheridan; a brother, Frank Tweedy, Indianapolis; a sister, Mrs. Homer Brandenburg; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Another son, Roy, is deceased.

Friends may call at the Hinshaw funeral home in Sheridan until noon tomorrow when the body will be taken to the church where it will lie in state one hour preceding the service.
