Born September 26, 1893 in Pikeville, Ky., she was a daughter of the late George and Margaret Blackburn Reid.
She had been a resident of Freeman since 1934 and was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Her husband, Charles Foster preceded her in death.
Surviving are: one daughter, Mrs. George (Mae) Biggs of Bedford, Va.; six sons, Fred Foster of Bremerton, Wa., Richard Foster of Farmingdale, N.Y., James Foster and David Foster, both of Bluewell, and Charles and William Foster, both of Freeman; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Carrico of Charleston and Mrs. Laura Staton of Forrest Hill, Ky.; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be heldat 11 a.m., Friday at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Allen Parrish and Rev. D. Homer Stewart officiating.
Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 5 until 9 p.m.
