Joseph (Joe) graduated from Warren Central High School, Indianapolis, Indiana in 1974. He enlisted in the United States AirForce in 1974 and received honorable discharge in 1978. He married Lora N Myers on March 4, 1978 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He fathered 2 children Leah N Semon-Jamison and Dana C Semon-Trees. He worked for the Indianapolis Public Schools Police Department for 33 years and retired a Sergeant June 1, 2013 and he and Lora moved back to her hometown of Peru, Indiana. He died at Dukes Memorial Hospital in Peru, Indiana from a massive heart attack. Joe was a very intelligent man, a loving providing husband and father. He loved to read and was a history buff. His corneas, bone with connective tissue, spleen and his skin were donated. He was strict, didn't like "educated idiots" and had no patience for stupid. He worked hard, loved hard and sacrificed his life for the woman he loved. His passing will leave an abyss of grief for those who loved him.
