Donald J. Kotzer,78,passed away Jan.2,2013 ia Azle,Texas.
A Memorial Mass was held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church,Azel,Texas,today.

Donald was born in 1934 to Joseph ande Ann Kotzer in Hazleton.
He recieved an architecture degree from Penn State University.Don worked as an independent architect until 2008 when he and his wife moved to Texas to live with their son and daughter-in-law in their home in Weatherford,Texas.
Some of his notable designs include St. Ann's Church,Freeland;the Stish house on the corner of Penn Street and Susquehanna Blvd,West Hazleton;several buildings at Misericordia University and the Church Hill Mall and Cinma,Hazleton. He had recently been a resident of Azel Manor Nursing Home,Azle,Texas.
He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia in 2011, and his daughter,Ann, in 2010.
Surviving are his brother,Norbert Kotzer and wife Nancy,West Hazleton; amd two sons,Don J. Kotzer and his wife Milissa, and their children,Danielle and Dominic,Weatherford,Texas; and Charles Kotzer and wife, Laureen,Norristown.
