Ardella Gunlock, 87, of Denton, died Friday December 10, 2010 at Denton Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Gunlock was born on May 28, 1923 in Murray City, OH to Thomas R. and Eva (Campbell) James. She was married to Richard E. Gunlock on September 23, 1944 in Chillicothe, OH. She was a member of Denton Bible Church.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 PM Monday, December 13, 2010 at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, December 14, 2010 in the chapel of Denton Bible Church, 2300 E. University Dr., Denton. Rev. Tom Nelson will officiate the service.

Della had a heart for ministry and was an active servant at Denton Bible Church. She was also active with Gideon Women.

Survivors include her husband, Richard E. Gunlock of Denton; daughter, Jennifer Lowry of Houston; sons, James R. Gunlock of Kirkland, WA, Jon F. Gunlock of Scottsdale, AZ, Paul Gunlock of Bonham, TX; sister, Velma Steel of Charlotte, NC; fourteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Denton Bible Church, Missionary Fund.
