Georgi G. Gallagher, age 82 of 2815 44th St., Two Rivers, died Sunday morning , Jan 28, 2007, at her home.

Georgi was born Feb. 5, 1924, in Oak Lawn, R.I., daughter of the late Manley J and Lanna T. Tait Goodspeed. On June 4, 1956, she married Melvin L. Gallagher, in Los Angeles. He preceded her in death on May 4, 2000. Georgi was a piano teacher for many years and was an accomplished organ player.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law: David and Sarah Gallagher, and their children, Bridget and Brian, Two Rivers; stepson: Brent (Gina) Gallagher, Hakalau, Hawaii; stepdaughter: Stella (Fred) Cordes, Oakland, Calif.; two brothers: M. Judson Goodspeed, Torrance, Calif. and David Goodspeed, Smithdale, Miss.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan 30, 2007, at Grace Congregational United Church of Christ, 2801 Garfield St., Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Kim Henning. Burial of her cremated remains will take place at a lter date at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.

The family will greet relatives and friends at Grace Congregational United Church of Christ, Two Rivers, on Tuesday evening from 4 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 6 p.m.

Memorials, in Georgi's name, may be made to Grace Congregational United Church of Christ or the Two Rivers Senior Center.

Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers, is assisting the Gallagher family with funeral arrangements.
