Funeral services for Sina Armistic Covington, 95, of Gainesville, are set for 2 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2014 at Meador-Clement-Keel Chapel with Rev. Hollis Parsons and David Beck officiating.

Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Meador-Clement-Keel Funeral Home.

Mrs. Covington died Thursday, March 27, 2014 in Gainesville.

She was born in Wilson, Okla. on Nov. 11, 1918.

Survivors include her children, Genevieve York, Gloria Sue Morrison and Linda Conner; siblings, Vallie Mae Cecil, Altie Parker, Beatrice DeWayne and Weldon Camp; 14 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.

Sina was born in Wilson, Oklahoma on the original Armistice Day (now known as Veterans Day), November 11, 1918. Her parents, Hampton and Ellie Camp named her in honor of that historic day. Mrs. Covington was a homemaker.
