She grew up in a time when family was so precious and dear, and Sunday afternoons were spent visiting aunts and uncles, cousins and friends. She was a retired textile employee with Inman Mills and a homemaker. For the past 21+ years, she suffered extreme pain from various health conditions but always managed to push through the hurt and anguish in order to make others feel loved, special and cared for. She put her God first and her family close behind. She was a selfless individual who loved unconditionally. Truly, her life was one of beauty, love and strength.
