Earl L. Gauthier 82, of Two Rivers, entered into eternal rest at Aurora Bay Care Medical Center, Green Bay, Sunday morning, May 15, 2011. Earl was born on December 22, 1928, to the late Lawrence and Agnes (Sousek) Gauthier in Two Rivers. He graduated from Washington High School with the class of 1946, he then served in the U.S. Army. Earl was in the Korean War, serving as Military Police and Food Inspector.

On October 3, 1952 he married Marlynne Berger at St. Luke's Catholic Church, Two Rivers, she preceded Earl in death on April 18, 2005. He married Aileen Christensen on March 29, 2008. Earl, along with his brother Neal, owned and operated Gauthier's Meat Market. He shot trap at Westshore Sportsman Club for many years, enjoyed bowling at Rudy's Lanes and was an avid sportsman.

Earl is survived by wife: Aileen Christensen, one son and daughter-in-law: Steve and Sue Gauthier, Mishicot; two daughters and two sons-in-law: Rhonda and Gerald Lorenz, Manitowoc and Diane and Daniel Hrudka Manitowoc; seven grandchildren: Brandan Gauthier, Nicole Lorenz, Erika and Joseph Popp, Holly and Nic Franz, Wyatt Hrudka, Bryce Hrudka, and Chad Pohl; two great grandsons: Breckin Franz and Gavin Popp; one brother: Neal and Sue Gauthier, Two Rivers; two sisters-in-law: Barbara and William Baker, Two Rivers, Jeannine and Steve Burk, Manitowoc; he is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Earl is also preceded in death by one brother Dale.

Funeral Services for Earl will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at St. Peter the Fisherman, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Tom Reynebeau. He will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers following the service. Full Military Honors will be accorded by VFW and American Legion of Two Rivers. The family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at St. Peter the Fisherman, Two Rivers from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.

The Klein and Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
