ANDREW L. CRETIN, an aged veteran of the Civil war in which he served as a member of the Confederate army, died at 9.30 o'clock last evening at his late residence, 1207 Fifteenth avenue of Blight's disease after an illness of one year. Deceased was born in Carroll county, Md., on March 10, 1838. He was preceded to the grave by his wife fifteen years ago, and for some time irfiad been living a retired life at his home. He was a member of St. John's church, and was prominent in the Ufa of the city. During the Civil war he served with distinction as a member of the Confederate forces in Co. F., the Second Battalion of Maryland troops. He Is survived by one son Joseph of this city. Funeral announcement will be made later. Interment is to be made in alvary cemetery. Friends are requested to please omit flowers. The remains are now at the N. A. Stevens Mortuary where they may be viewed any time prior to the funeral.
