BURNS FATAL TO AGED WOMAN
Mrs. Mary Ann Hobbs died in the 98th year of her life at 8:45 p.m. Thursday, at the home of her son, J.W. Hobbs, near Bellevue, following injuries sustained from recent burns. Funeral services were conducted from the residence at 11 a.m. Friday by Rev. Springer, and her remains were interred in the family cemetery. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. W.M. Forehand of Bellevue; one son, J.W. Hobbs of Bellevue, and two brothers, George and William. Her gransons acted as pall-bearers: J.W., W.G., C.J., R.A., W.H., and G.W. Forehand; T.B. and A.J. Hobbs and Will Obrien. McKay Brothers were the funeral directors.
