Mary, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Burke of the Hudson vicinity, passed away at the Hawarden hospital last Thursday forenoon. Following the death of the baby an autopsy was performed which revealed that her stomach was perforated. Besides her parents she is survived by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Wim. Burke, also of the Hudson vicinity. The parents have the sympathy of all in the loss of their first child.
The little form was laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery in this city last Thursday afternoon. Rev. Fr. R. Graf had charge of the burial services.
