Services for Mamie L. DePaepe, 82, of 1900 6th Ave., Rock Island, are 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Rock Island. Burial is in Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island.
Visitation is 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Wheelan Funeral Home, Rock Island, with a wake service at 7. Memorials may be made to American Lung Association.

The former Mamie Bremman was born Nov. 14th, 1909, in Monmouth, the daughter of William D. and Lula Stewart Brennan. She married Arthur A. DePaepe Nov. 14, 1927, in Rock Island. He died Aug. 17, 1974.
In early years, she had been employed at the Rock Island Arsenal, and at Servus Rubber Co., Rock Island.
She enjoyed knitting items for Emergency Pregnancy Service of Rock Island County.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Gerry E. Aversing, and Nancy and Richard Ballinger, all of Rock Island, Shirley and Harry Boswell, Columbia, S.C., Beverly and Richard Hamlin, Lansing, Mich., and Jackie and Thomas Seibert, and Linda and Larry Diedrich, all of Moline; sons and daughters-in-law, Dale and Cheryl DePaepe, Rock Island, and Thomas and Sally DePaepe, Hurst, Texas; 49 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Dorothy Barnes and Florence Brennan and a brother Robert K. Brennan, all of St. Petersburg.
