Born February 27, 1908, in Pulaski County, he was the son of Robert H. and Millie E. Johnson Humble and the husband of Ethylene Ingram Humble, who survives him. They were married July 6, 1933.
He was a plant supervisor of General Motors Division, Detroit, for 35 years and retired in 1965.
Survivors are his wife; a brother, Robert H. Humble, and a sister, Atha M. Holder, both of Science Hill.
Three brothers and eight sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral was Friday, July 18, with the Rev. Neil Garrabrant and the Rev. Howard Prather officiating.
Burial was in the Michigan Memorial Park.
