She was the daughter of Rudolph and Alberta (Dulle) Lamers. On Jul 11, 1964, she married Arthur "Junior" Alt, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons: Brad (Julie), Pandora, and Bruce (Stacy), Glandorf; two daughters: Shelly (Larry) Napolitan, Cleveland, and Kim Baldwin, Ottawa; nine grandchildren: Nicole, Ashley, Jacob, Emma, Ben, Jamie, Kelsey, Jordan and Ethan; four brothers: Robert and Nick (Jane), both Chicago, IL, Paul (Barb), Chelsea, MI, and Bill (Mary), Defiance; and four sisters: Marilyn (Karl) Inkrott and Dorothy (Elmer) Meyer, both Miller City, Betty Recker, New Riegel, and Sr. Joanne Lammers, Tiffin.
Deceased is a brother-in-law, Bob Recker.
A graduate of Miller City High School and St. Rita's School of Nursing, her career included nursing at Findlay Hospital, the Sylvania plant, Ottawa, and Pandora Family Medical Center where the doctors said she had one speed: FAST. She found great joy with her grandchildren, spending special times, daily texting, and cheering them through sports and special interests. She spent many, countless hours on Lake Erie and loved fishing with family and friends, camping, playing cards, bowling and playing shuffleboard in California. She and Jr. became quite handy with their sticks and loved a friendly competitive game.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter and Paul Church, Ottawa, with Rev. Matt Jozefiak, and Deacons Jim Rump and Don Inkrott officiating.
