He was born May 15, 1943, in Fairfax, the son of Olin and Alice (Luman) Gray.
He was a graduate of Jericho High School.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Vietnam War.
He was employed as a maintenance supervisor at Vermont State Airport in Clarendon and Burlington International Airport, retiring in 2000.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, horseshoes, cribbage and operating heavy equipment.
Survivors include a son, Patrick Gray of Newburgh, N.Y.; two daughters, Patricia Gray of Underhill, and Amber Gray of Mendon; four grandchildren; two brothers, Olin Gray of San Jose, Calif., and Lee Gray of Essex; two sisters, Lois Abell of Essex and Susie Gray of Jericho; nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014, at Clifford Funeral Home.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 4,
Burial will be held at a later date, at the convenience of the family, in Jericho Center Cemetery in Jericho.
