Luther "Pete" Arnold, 75, of Stoney Run Road, Westernport, passed away Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, Cumberland.
Born October 23, 1938 in Keyser, WV, he was the son of the late Margaret (Arnold) Riggleman and stepson of the late Kenneth B, Riggleman. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Bernadette (Clark) Arnold, and a brother, Roy Riggleman. ...
"Pete" was a carpenter by trade, having worked for Marsh Contracting and Here To Help Contracting. He loved to do wood working in his shop, making many beautiful pieces. He also loved hunting, fishing and gardening.
At Pete's request, his body was cremated. A memorial service will be conducted at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, on Tuesday, April 1st, at 7:00 PM, with Rev. Gary Morris officiating. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday one hour prior to service from 6 to 7 PM. Interment will be in Philos Cemetery, Westernport, at a later date.
