PHYLLIS ANN CRISEL, 71, of Huntington, W.Va., wife of Raben K. Crisel, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2006, at the Hospice House of Huntington. She was born January 23, 1935, in Huntington, a daughter of the late Carl L. and Lennie R. Burd Baumgardner. A sister, Velma Jeane Messinger also preceded her in death.

In addition to her husband, survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Wes Thacker of Huntington; a granddaughter, Amanda Thacker of Huntington; and a niece, Kelly Messinger of Columbus, Ohio.

Phyllis had worked years ago as a sales clerk for Bradshaw's and the Smart Shop in Huntington. She was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be conducted at noon Saturday, July 29, 2006, at Woodmere Memorial Park in the Abbey of Peace with Jeff Garrett officiating. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park. Friends may call 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, after which a procession will go to the cemetery.
