Found in The State 19 January 1970: Mrs. Elizabeth Randolph Bell Brooks, 87, widow of Mr. Macpherson Berrien Brooks, died Sunday in Medicenter. Mrs. Brooks was born in Columbia, daughter of the late John and Emily Milligan Bell. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. Surviving are a son, John Hampden Brooks of Columbia; and two daughters, Mrs. Edward Cantey Haile and Mrs. Joseph Hollowell Sanders of Columbia. Funeral services will be at noon Monday in Elmwood Cemetery conducted by the Rev. James Stirling, D. D.
