Mary Ann Teems married Charles Harris about 1866. Next she married John Wesley Walden August 2, 1911. Mary and John are buried in Bryan Cemetery in unmarked graves. Her son Wofford Harris is buried next to them in an unmarked grave.

Obituary: Walker Co. Messenger April 19, 1929
Mrs. J.W. Walden, aged 78 years, passed away at her home near Corinth Thursday night April 11th (1929), about 10 O'clock. Her death comes as a profound shock to her many friends and relatives. She is survived by four sons and three daughters; William, George, Wofford and Lewis Harris, all of LaFayette. Mrs. Essie Ward, and Mrs Tinnie Crow of LaFayette and Mrs. T.L. Wilbanks of East Lake, Tenn. Funeral services were held from the residence Friday afternoon at 2'Oclock. Conducted by Rev. T.J. Argo, who paid a beautiful tribute to the life and character of the deceased. Pallbearers were; Wel Whitten, Willie Cannon, Fred Bryant, Gordon Greene, T.L. Wilbanks and Raymond Lee. Internment was in the Corinth Cemetery, with the LaFayette Furniture Company in charge.

(Even though the obituary says she was buried at Corinth, All family members and the Walker County Cemetery records say Mary Ann, John and her son Wofford are buried at Bryan Cemetery in unmarked graves).
