Died Monday, Nov. 1, 1993, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. She was 73, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Baton Rouge. She was a former Exxon Co. USA secretary. Visiting at Welsh Funeral Home, 6700 Florida Blvd., 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Religious services at St. Thomas More Catholic Church at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, conducted by Father Jerry Martin. Entombment in Greenoaks Memorial Park Lakeside Mausoleum. Survived by husband, Lawes J. Alonzo; mother, Mrs. Maud H. Gonzales, BatonRouge; a son, Rene Charles Alonzo, Maui, Hawaii; and a grandson, Gabriel S. Alonzo, Austin, Texas, currently stationed in Egypt. Pallbearers will be members of St. Thomas More Usher's Committee. She was a charter member of St. Thomas More Parish, past president of Altar Society, St. Agnes Parish Home and School Assocation, PTA Association and Ladies of B.P.O.E. and a member of Legion of Mary.
