FUNERALS OF 2 VICTIMS SAME AFTERNOON

Edward Melchert and Edward Baker To Be Buried on Tuesday Afternoon
With the death Saturday afternoon at the hospital of Edward Melchert, 38, the toll of the typhoid fever epidemic in Two Rivers mounted to six. Funeral services of Mr. Melchert will take place Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 from the Beduhn and Goetz chapel. (Section on Baker omitted)

Mr. Melchert has been a resident of Two Rivers for the past twelve years. He was born in Neenah, in 1890. He was married to Miss Helen Vanderbloemen and they moved here to reside. He was employed at the Eggers plant for the past seven years.

During his stay in this city he had been in the cast of many home talent productions and leaves a host of friends he made in these productions. Much will his superior acting ability be missed in the productions in the future. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose of this city.

He is survived by his wife and a son, Earl. One sister, Mrs. L.K. Helpinstine of Ewing, Ky. and one brother George Melchert of Manitowoc, also survive.
