Helen Kight of Pleasanton passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at the age of 85. Helen was born on November 23, 1928 in Poteet, Texas to James Calvin and Marie (Schneider) Rutledge. Helen is survived by her sons, Charles Kight and wife Sharon of Troy, Texas and Tomas Kight of Pleasanton; daughters, Dorothy Mutters and husband Frank of Stillwater, Oklahoma and Susan Milne and husband David of Aberdeen, Scotland. She is also survived by brothers, James Rutledge and wife Mary of Floresville and Frank Rutledge and wife Betty of Spring Branch; seventeen grandchildren, forty-four great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, James Calvin and Marie Rutledge. Visitaion will be Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at the Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton from 2:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral service will be Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Pleasanton. Interment will follow services at Rutledge Cemetery in Poteet, Texas.
