Elmer Haese, age 83, of rural Reedsville, passed away January 2, 1994, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at St. Jame's, (sic) St. John's Lutheran Church, Reedsville. Pastor David Kipfmiller will officiate. Burial will be at West Side Cemetery, Reedsville.
He was born November 4, 1910, in the Town of Rockland, son of the late John and Martha Klann Haese. He was married on August 20, 1966, to Erma Maertz. He farmed his entire life in the Town of Rockland.
He was a member of St. Jame's, (sic) St. John's Lutheran Church and served on the Church Council.
He is survived by his wife Erma; one stepdaughter and son-in-law, Marlene and Jerold Glaze, Appleton; two stepsons and one daughter-in-law, Howard and Gertrude Maertz, LaCresent, Minn., Ronald Meartz, Rancho Cor Dova, Calif., one sister and brother-in-law, Adeline and
Orrin Berg, Madison; one brother and sister-in-law, Victor and Bulah Haese, Reedsville; nieces and nephews also survived.
Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home, Reedsville, from 4-9 p.m. on Tuesday, and from 7:45 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Wednesday and after 11:30 at the church until the time of service.
