Rose was born in Czechoslovakia and moved to the US at an early age. They settled in Crandon, Wisconsin. She worked for the US Coast Guard in Chicago and Green Bay. She married her husband on 5 Oct 1935. He passed away on 19 Jan 1941. After his death, she began working for the Social Security Administration in Green Bay, eventually retiring from that job in 1969.
Rose sang in her church choir. She loved to travel and was interested in photography. Her hobbies included bird watching and was a member of a local bird club as well as the Audubon Society.
Rose was survived by 2 brothers as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rose Marie and a brother, William.
