Terry Joe Richardson, 57, Stockton, went home to be with his Lord and other loved ones on Sunday morning, May 19, 2002. He was born on August 7, 1944, the son of Joe and Hazel Bowen Richardson.

Terry grew up around Filley and was a graduate of the El Dorado Springs High School. Terry spent many years growing up in the home of his grandparents, Mollie and Louie Bowen, who he was very fond of. For a number of years, Terry was employed by the K.A.T.Y. Railroad.

He is survived by his mother, Hazel Bowen Richardson - El Dorado Springs, Lana Richardson, five children, Billy Joe Richardson and his wife, Terri - Tennessee, Pamela Jo Lewis and husband, Bill - Tennessee, Todd Justin Richardson - Missouri, Christopher Joseph Richardson - Arkansas, Victoria Lynn Richardson - Arkansas; three step-children, Laura Ann White and husband, Mark, Pamela Kay Shaffer and husband, Greg and Karen Marie Lee and husband, DJ - all of Missouri, also surviving are his aunt, Peggy Oberly - Taberville, mother-in-law, Wilma Spencer - Stockton and brother-in-law, Sam Rosenbaum - Stockton; 4 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and 18 step-grandchildren.

Terry was preceded in death by his father, Joe Richardson - Kansas City and his grandparents, Louie and Mollie Bowen - Filley.

In the last days, when he was able, Terry went to church at the Church of God (Holiness) in Stockton. He enjoyed being with fellow Christians in God's house. Terry was at peace with the Lord and was ready to go home. He was in hope of seeing all his family and friends there.

Services began at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 22 at the Church of God (Holiness) in Stockton. Interment was in the Mound Cemetery under the direction of the Hackleman and Sons Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Jim Lurten, Ronnie Dearman, Gary Brahn, John Haslock, Christopher Richardson and Bill Lewis. Honorary pallbearers - Gregg Shaffer and Sam Rosenbaum.
