Sheridan Austin, 84, of Rexville died at his home Monday (April 13, 1964) after a long illness.
He was a retired bee-keeper and had also worked for 50 years in the area oil fields, retiring in 1952.
He was born Jan 6, 1880 at White's Corners, PA, a son of Adelbert and Maria Austin.
He is survived by his widow, Hannah Matre Austin, a brother, Harry Austin of Portville, NY, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends are being received at the Wildman Funeral Home, Whitesville, NY starting at 1pm, Wednesday. Funeral and committal services will be held at 2pm, Thursday. (April 16, 1964) at the funeral home.
Burial will be at White's Corners, PA.
