Robert D. Loeser Sr., 66, of 3925 Tannery Road, Two Rivers, was called to his eternal rest Saturday evening, March 3, 1990, after a long courageous battle and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Paul Schumacher with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers. Graveside Military Rites will be accorded.

Mr. Loeser was born December 11, 1923, at Two Rivers, son of the late Louis and Elizabeth Mueller Loeser. He married the former Donna Mosuch on July 21, 1945, at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Bob was a member of Holy Redeemer Parish for the past 25 years, previously a member of St. Luke's Parish and was a past vice-president of The Holy Name Society. Bob was a Letter Carrier for the U.S. Post Office in Two Rivers for 34 years before becoming ill with ALS, more commonly known as Lew Gehrigs Disease. He served as vice-president of the Local NALC for a period of time. He was first in the area to receive the Superior Accomplishment Award from the U.S. Post Office. He served three years in the U.S. Army 8th Air Force during World War II, serving one year in the European Theatre (sic). Bob was a past member of the VFW, served as a Boy Scout Leader for two years and Cub Master for three years. He was also a member of Elks Lodge 1380 for the past 38 years.

Survivors include his wife, Donna; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Jr. (Butch) and Bonnie Loeser of Toledo, Ohio, Gregory and Gretchen Loeser of Iola, Wisconsin; two daughters and a son-in-law, Linda and Joseph Kurth of Two Rivers, Ann Loeser of New Holstein; a brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Marvelyn Loeser of Panaca, Nevada; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Esther Becker of Two Rivers, Ruth and John Carlson of Ladysmith, Wisconsin and Winnifred and Wesley Coenen of Two Rivers; seven grandchildren (private); his mother-in-law, Mrs. Ed (Eva) Keip of Two Rivers; in-laws, Carol and Ken Nystrom of Two Rivers,
Lois and Norman Gagnon of Oshkosh, Bill and Eileen Mosuch of Two Rivers, also nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Harold.

Friends may call at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. this Monday. Parish Memorial will be held this evening at 7 P.m.
