William F. Otis, 92, formerly of 1933 Roosevelt Ave., Two Rivers, and former Two Rivers Eighth ward supervisor, for years engaged in cabinet work in Two Rivers, died early Wednesday at an Appleton hospital. He had been living for the past eight years with a son, George Otis, at Appleton.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Klein & Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, the Rev. M.J. Roehrdanz officiating. Burial will be in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.

Mr. Otis was born Feb. 20, 1867, at Waldo, Wis., son of the late Joshua and Jane Spratt Otis. As a youth he went to Sheboygan where in 1897 he married the former Emma Dressler. The family lived at Sheboygan until 1900 when it moved to New London. In 1911, Mr. Otis brought his family to Two Rivers, where he earlier engaged in carpenter contracting work and later operated a cabinet making establishment. He served his Eighth ward in the early 1940's for two terms as supervisor on the Manitowoc County Board. Mr. Otis made his home with the son, George, since the death of his wife in 1952.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. John Prickett of Manitowoc, Mrs. Clarence Belonger of Two Rivers, Mrs. Ernie Graham of Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Lola McCarter of Milwaukee and Mrs. Hilmer Schumaker of Sheboygan; two other sons, Raymond and Harold of Milwaukee, and 21 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday.
