Delia is the daughter of Pierre Chenevere dit Lemarbre and Marie Angelique Beaudry. She married Felix Olivier Daigle, May 15, 1843 at Saint Ambroise de Kildare, Quebec.

They had 15 children. Angeline and Napoleon were born in Quebec before the family moved to Monroe County, Michigan about 1847. The next thirteen children were all born in Monroe County: Caroline, Peter, Josephine, Marguerite, Laurent, Prosper, Susan, Clement, Anne, Louis, Frederick, Mary and Marie Angelique.
