Gloria Elsie Duchow, age 91, of Brillion, died on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Brillion WestHaven.

She was born on April 10, 1922, daughter of the late Arthur and Erma (Wolters) Sohn.

Gloria married Armin Duchow on September 14, 1946 at St. James in Spring Valley.

She was organist for 4 different churches, St. James in Spring Valley, St. Johns in Kohlsville, Grace in Kohler and Grace in Wausau. She also played the organ at Army Camp Haven in Sheboygan, performed with the Sheboygan Symphony, and was a crossing guard in Wausau. Gloria was a member of Peace Evangelical & Reformed Church in Potter.

Survivors include her children, Faith (James) Thompson of Fort Wayne IN. Debra Preuhs of Land O Lakes WI. and John Duchow of Seneca SC. Her grandchildren, Keenan (Diane Noyes) Thompson, Tauren (Amber) Thompson, Jeremy Duchow, Jennifer (Mark) Hendricks, a step grandson Rob Preuhs, 6 great grandchildren, Maximus, Brice, Riley, Alex, Mara and Wil, a sister-in-law Gundula Duchow of Potter and a brother-in-law Ed Masak of Appleton.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Armin in 1987, and a son-in-law Dick Preuhs.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Peace Evangelical & Reformed Church in Potter. The Rev. Dr. Marc Axelrod will officiate. Burial will be in the Brillion Community Cemetery.
