ADDINGTON CHILD DIES IN MICHIGAN
Little Child of Homer Addington Brought Here for Burial.


Alice D. Addington, aged two, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Homer S. Addington and grand-daughter of A.P. Addington and wife, of this county, passed away Thursday evening at 11 o'clock at Big Rapids, Mich., after five days illness with an acute inflammation of the intestines. The remains were brought to Bluffton, the funeral party arriving this morning, and were taken to the home of Mr. and Mrs. A.P. Addington.

The funeral will be held on Sunday afternon at the Six Mile Church, with Rev W.T. Arnold in charge and the interment will be in Six Mile Cemetery.

The child was born October 31, 1914, the daughter of Homer S. and Evelyn (Ratliff) Addington. The family have lived in Big Rapids for several years. Besides the parents and grandparents there is one baby sister, Esther.

Mrs. Addington Collapsed.

Mrs. Homer Addington, of Big Rapids, Mich., who arrived here last night with the funeral party accompanying her infant daughter, collapsed this morning at the home of her father-in-law, Mr. A.P. Addington, as a result of strain and grief. She required the attention of a physician but is better this afternoon.
