Kathrine A. Stroup, 87, a Tacoma resident for the past 16 years, born in Allen, NE, May 15, 1907 and passed away in Tacoma Nov. 24, 1994. She was a librarian in Ponca, NE for 5 years and a member of United Methodist Church in Ponca and was active in the United Methodist Women's Missionary Society for 25 years and an adult Sunday School teacher for many years. Locally she was a member of Life Center and a resident of Life Manor Retirement Center. She was preceded in death by husband George A. Stroup and son, Ralph H. Murray. She will be missed by three daughters, Mary L. Wonner, Margaret K. Lenz and Georgia R. Bradley; and stepson, Raold Stroup and their families and children of Ralph Murray. Memorial services Mon. 12:30 p.m. at Life Center Chapel.
