Mrs. Juanita L. Ashworth, 70, 2027 Indiana Avenue died at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday at her home of an apparent heart attack. She had been in failing health the past four months and under a doctor's care, but her death was unexpected.

A life long resident of Connersville, she was born here Aug. 5, 1911, one of four children of Byron T. and Jessie Wolf Adams. She was married to Dr. L. Neff Ashworth on October 24, 1941 and he died Aug. 3, 1951.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church where she had served as organist for over 22 years; the United Methodist Women; Zeta Alpha Associate Chapter of Kappa Kappa Sigma Sorority; Informal Study Club; American Legion Auxiliary; Minvera Club; Historic Connersville Inc.; and the S.P.C.A. She had been a member of the Medical Auxiliary, the Gray Ladies, King's Daughters and Garden Club.

Survivors include two brothers, Francis S. Adams of Middletown, OH and Russell W. Adams of Mira Loma, CA; and one niece. Besides her husband, her parents, a sister and a nephew preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in First United Methodist Church by Rev. Walter Kilburn and Rev. Jack Haskins, and burial will be in Dale Cemetery. Friends may call at Miller Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Thursday and at the church Friday from 12 noon until the hour of the service.
