Daniel Paolini, 87, of 244 Wheaton Road died Friday in Strasburg, Pa.
Mr. Paolini was a life resident of Syracuse. He retired in 1978 after 40 years as owner of Sheridan Roofing Co. His wife, the former Gil Rossi, died in 1982.
Mr. Paolini was a member of the Eastwood Baptist Church and a former member of the Central New York Home Builders Association. He was a 50-year member of Sal Springs Lodge, F&AM, and a member of the Tigris Temple Lodge, the Scottish Rite Bodies and the Grand Lodge.
Surviving are a son, Daniel L. of Johnsonville, Pa.; a daughter, Amy Frasier of Syracuse; a brother, Arthur T. of Syracuse; two sisters, Ann M. Paolini and Antonette Benedette, both of Syracuse; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Frasier-Shepardson Funeral Home. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt.
Calling hours will be 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to the Masonic Home, Utica.
