Michael L. Bever, age 58, passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Portland, OR, on September 29, 2011.
Michael was born in Two Rivers on January 19, 1953, to the late William and Rose Bever. He graduated from Washington High in 1971 and UW-Oshkosh in 1975 with a degree in Journalism. He moved to Portland shortly after graduation and recently retired on disability.
Michael was a caring person who spent many hours volunteering in Portland. He taught adults to read, worked with the homeless and in the Food Pantry and with Alcoholics Anonymous.
A memorial service will be held in Portland for Michael, and his cremains will be buried in Two Rivers at a later date.
