Frank Blankenfeld, living near Niobrara, died this Thursday morning at a Sioux City hospital, where he had been for the past five weeks following an operation for appendicitis and ulcers.
It was thought he was getting along very well, but a change for the worse suddenly came and he passed away.
He leaves a wife and two small children.
