In hospital, Smiths Falls on Tuesday, April 29/86, Verna Riley in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late James Abbass. Loved mother of Richard and Albert of St. Catharines, Ron of Smiths Falls and the late Addison and Camillie Abbass. Dear sister of Mrs. Hilda McKnight of Victoria, B.C. and Mrs. Ona Buzan of Calgary, aunt of Dede Downham of Toronto. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Blair and Son Funeral Home, 112 Beckwith St. N., Smiths Falls. Funeral service was conducted in the Free Methodist Church, Smiths Falls on Friday, May 2 at 1:30 p.m. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery.
