Funeral arrangements have not yet been completed for Mrs. Dinah F. Morrow Van Selus, 86, of 1018 Fourth Avenue North, who died early this morning in a local hospital where she had been a patient for the past nine days. Mrs. Van Selus had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. E.D. Fuller, at that address.

Mrs. Van Selus was born September 17, 1859, in Mousie Creek, Illinois. She attended schools in Missouri and also attended Warrensburg teachers college in Missouri.

She married William Morrow December 25, 1878, in Missouri, and they came to Rolette county, North Dakota, with a large group of people from Missouri in 1898. Mr. Morrow died in Rolette county in 1913.

Mrs. Van Selus was influential in education and politics in Rolette county. She married Willis Van Selus in July 1931. She was a member of the Pleasant Valley Presbyterian church in Rolette county.

Surviving are her husband and the following children: Mrs. Fuller; Mrs. Evelyn Bartlett, New York City; James Morrow, Wolford, N.D.; Mrs. Nettie Miller, Charles Morrow, Perry Morrow, and Hearkless Morrow, all of the state of Washington. One sister, Mrs. Hattie Hurst, the last surviving of 16 children, resides in McMinnville, Oregon. There are also 35 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
