DOROTHY WALTER, age 80, of Georgetown, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2002 in Georgetown. She was born September 27, 1922 in Caddo, Oklahoma to parents Walter and Belle McKnight. She married Charles Walter on April 16, 1974. Dorothy was a member of the Crestview Baptist Church of Georgetown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Walter in 1991 and three brothers. Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Shirley Carlson of Kelso, Washington, Patricia Warren, Kimberly Brown, and Elizabeth Johns all of Georgetown; eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and brother, Carl McKnight of Morehouse, Missouri. The family will receive guests for visitation from 3:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. Sunday, October 27, 2002 at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, October 28, 2002 in the chapel of the Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home with Reverend Dan Wooldridge officiating. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
