Margaret was the daughter of George E. Murphy (FAG #47946296) and Anne (Ireland) Murphy (FAG #47946331.) Anne Ireland was her mother according to the South Union Cemetery records book published by Daundra Baker. Anne died in 1851 from complications with Margaret's birth.
Margaret married Miles D. Brown (FAG #130803762) on Nov. 7, 1872 in Berrien County, MI.
They had two children: Marie (Brown) Burke who is buried next to Margaret and Clara (Brown) Burke. Both sisters were married to Solon Ernest Burke. Margaret is not buried with her husband but is near his brother, Harry.
After the death of her husband, Margaret moved back to Berrien Springs (her home town) and remained there until her death.
