Death of Mrs. George Tuper.
June 7—Our community was saddened to hear of the sudden death of Mrs. George Tuper, who died at home west of this place Sunday night May 30th, at 10:30 o'clock after a short illness aged 63 years. The deceased leaves besides her husband two sons, Alex Tuper of this place and Trefley Tuper, of Ft. Covington Center, and two sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Alex Raymo,of St. Regis Falls, and Mrs. Joseph Tuper, of Oswego, Ezra Labell and Alfred Labell of this place and Alex Labell of South Bombay, and many warm friends and acquaintances to mourn her loss.

Mrs. Tuper was a devout member of the Catholic church of Brushton. She was a fond and loving mother, and kind and considerate of others, ever ready with sympathy or and for those in need or distress. A woman of fine Christian character, devoted to her family arid friends, she will long be remembered by all, for her worthy qualities. The funeral was held, at the Catholic church at Brushton Wednesday morning June 2nd, and she was laid at rest in the Brushton cemetery.
