OBITUARY-
AUSTIN -- Doris I. Buck, 75, of Apple Valley Health Care Center in Apple Valley, Minn., formerly of Austin, died Sunday (Oct. 8, 1995) at the care center.
Doris I. Kephart was born Nov. 16, 1919, in Davenport, Iowa. She lived in Austin until 1960 and then was employed by the government in Denver, Colo., and Des Moines, Iowa, until returning to Austin in 1979. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Austin.
Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn (Mrs. Jim) Schmidtke of Faribault; four sons, Philip of Austin, Paul of St. Paul, Jim of Indianola, Iowa, and Joel of Des Moines; 24 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and a sister.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin, with the Rev. Howard Longcore officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Austin.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
