Ann Conrad, age 62, of 11005 County Highway O, Two Rivers, died Sunday, Oct. 16, 2005, at St. Mary's Columbia Hospital, Milwaukee.

Ann was born July 1, 1943, in Sheboygan, daughter of the late Donald Lorenz and Adeline Widder. She was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. On Aug. 14, 1965, Ann married Stanley L. Conrad in Sheboygan Falls. She was a teacher in the Kimberly and Kaukauna School District in the 1960's. Ann then became a substitute teacher in the Mishicot School District and taught homebound children for several years. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Two Rivers, where she also taught religious education. Ann was also a devoted member of a multiple sclerosis support group. In addition to spending time with her family, she enjoyed gardening, sewing, and doing stained glass artwork.

Survivors include her husband: Stan Conrad, Two Rivers; two daughters and one son-in-law: Christine and Randy Oelke, Manitowoc; Catherine Conrad, Two Rivers, and special friend, Vic Fracaro, San Francisco, Calif.; one son and daughter-in-law: Stan Jr. and Shawn Conrad, Tempe, Ariz.; grandchildren: Alyssa and Jayden Oelke; her mother: Adeline Lorenz, Madison; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Robert and Sally Lorenz, Madison; James and Joan Lorenz, N.J.; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Carol and Richard Berge, Plano, Texas; Julie and Vincent Candura, N.H.; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Vernon and Janet Conrad, Cleveland. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

She was also preceded in death by an infant brother, Daniel.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2005, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. William O'Brien with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.

The family will greet relatives and friends at Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers from 6 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday (TODAY), Oct. 18, 2005, where a prayer service, led by Father Bill, will conclude the visitation. Visitation will continue at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 10:30 a.m.

The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to the doctors and nurses who took care of Ann during the time of her illness at the Two Rivers and Green Bay Aurora hospitals as well as St. Mary's Columbia in Milwaukee.
