Franklin Monroe Weaver, 82, of Mesa, departed this life Feb. 17, 2014, at his home, with family, caregiver, Leonard, and Hospice of the Valley nurse, Jodi, at his side.

He was born Feb. 20, 1932, in Clinton, Mo., to Frank C. and Mary Jane Weaver.

He was in the upholstery business in Mesa, Phoenix, Tempe, Safford, Gisela and Farmington, N.M. 
Frank's leisure pursuits included endurance boat skiing, competitive boat racing, dirt bikes and buggies. His greatest joy in life was being with family and friends.

Frank is survived by: his children, Patty Weaver, Joey Curtis, Frank Weaver Jr., Rose Fullmer (Shaun), Jeanie Weaver and Jay Weaver Sr. (Tina); his brother, Tooter (Suzi); his sister, Ruby (Roy); 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
 He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean McCarty Biesemeyer Weaver, his parents, and brothers, Herbert and Ernie.

Services will be held March 1 at 11 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1315 S. 24th St., Mesa.
