Richard J. Wiernik, age 77, formerly of Junction City died Saturday April 12, 2014 at Creative Community Living Services in Plover where he resided. He was born June 6, 1936 in Junction City. He is the son of the late Joseph and Sophie (Adamski) Wiernik. Richard farmed his entire life on the family Homestead in Junction City. He enjoyed shaking dice, fishing and listening to polka music.

Survivors include three brothers: Donald (Leona) Wiernik, Chester (Caroline) Wiernik both of Stevens Point and James (Geraldine) Wiernik of Junction City. Two sisters: Rosie Eron of Junction City and Lorraine Kerchefski of Stevens Point. One sister in law: Lorraine Wiernik of Junction City. Preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother David & 2 brother in laws: Clarence Eron & Barney Kerchefski.

Funeral Mass 11:00 am Wednesday at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Mill Creek. Rev. John Ofori-Domah officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.
