YOUNGSTOWN – There will be a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2014, at the Heritage Presbyterian Church, 1951 Mathews Road in Youngstown with Pastor Kristin Stroble celebrating for Charles S. "Skip" Wolfcale, 74, who passed away peacefully Monday, April 14, 2014, surrounded by his loving family.
Charles was born May 12, 1939, in Youngstown, the son of Edson and Emily (Best) Wolfcale.
He was a 1958 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and retired from General Motors after 34 years of service. He was a member of the Heritage Presbyterian Church.
Charles was an avid Cincinnati Bengals fan. He loved to do woodworking. He and his wife, Margaret also operated Wolfcale's Plaster Craft Shop.
Charles will always be lovingly remembered by his wife, the former Margaret Terihay, whom he married on Aug. 15, 1959; three children, Charles A. Wolfcale of Austintown, Edson (Denise) Wolfcale of Ravenna and Emily (Shawn) Danks of New Waterford; seven grandchildren, Charles, Shawn (Chanie), Courtney, Shayn (Emma), Samantha, Edson and Sarah; two great-grandchildren, Bailey and Jacob; two sisters, Betty Mae Lee and Valgene Wolfcale, both of Boardman; sister-in-law, Loretta Wolfcale of Lake Placid, Fla.; and his two dogs, Holly and Brodie.
Besides his parents, Charles was preceded in death by two granddaughters, Ellyssa and Erika; and brother, Edson "Ike" Wolfcale.
