According to the records at the Finney County Museum, "Jacob Booth Fleagle and his wife Annie Margaret (Bashford) came to Finney County in 1886 and settled on a homestead claim north of Garden City. They moved from Columbus Junction, Iowa where Annie had been born in 1861. Jacob Booth had been born in Frizzelburg, Md., in 1859."
