Amy's sister Fanny married Edward Beeson, had three children (Ike, Margaret & Frances), and died in 1912 and Edward married Amy and had one child, Mary Louise. Edward died in 1918 (Spanish flu) and Amy raised her three step children and daughter Mary.
Amy lived with her unmarried daughter Mary for many years in Gary, IN - Mary hard of hearing, Amy almost blind. Not long before she died, Amy and Mary moved to Bradenton, FL.
