She was a homemaker and had been employed with Woolworths and Walgreens. She was a member of Sunnycrest Baptist Church, where she was active in Super 60s, Friday Morning Prayer Group, nursery and baptisms.
Survivors include husband, Lester H. Young Sr., Marion; daughter, Tina (Tom) Hubbard, Marion; sons, Tony Young, Fort Wayne, Les Young, Marion, Jeff (Lori) Young, Marion, Antoine (Debbie) Young, Gas City, and Brian (Christal) Young, Marion; brothers, Kenny (Opal) Abercrombie, Muncie, and David (Lorna) Abercrombie, Sarasota, Fla.; sisters, Alice Babbit, Cocoa Beach, Fla., and Bess Young, Double Springs, Ala.; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by brother, Al Abercrombie.
